I've been using Tesco's DVD rental service (£13.97 for 3 titles, change/keep as long/often as you like) since September to save loads on rental fees.
Today I received an email from them inviting me to pre-pay and get any of the following:
3 months - £5 off
6 months - one month free (i.e. 16.7% off)
12 months - two months free (i.e. 16.7% off)
They use the Video Island service like a number of other more expensive rivals.
If you're going to continue your direct debit subscription anyway, then the six or 12 months options effectively drop the rate to £11.64 per month for 3 concurrent titles.
Do it now! Here's the link: http://www.tescodvdrental.com/account/prepay.html
Oh yes, and I also pay using my Terence Conran card (AMEX not permitted) and effectively save a further 1%. Thank you Martin!

You might like to consider a better deal with
https://www.easycinema.com
with DVD's for rental from £1.99 each, which is £5.97 for three rather than £13.97. I've found they give a very good service."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0 -

The tesco deal is 3 at a time, I had 28 dvd's last month so that's 50p each.0 -
Hi. How would you go about applying the Tesco Gift Subscription to your DVD rental account? I currently have an account with them so would I have to close that account and open a new one with the gift subscription and create the dvd reservation list from scratch?
Thanks!0
