Iceland Xmas meal deal???

hi,

Does anyone know if Iceland will be selling their Xmas dinner meal deal this year? For the past 3 years they have sold a turkey, a bag of sprouts, carrots, roast potatoes and a dessert ( cheesecake or gateaux) for £10. They usually advertise the deal on tv around about this time.

If you do see a deal grab it as the week before christmas Iceland deals tend to be very limited. I imagine it is because thy know people will go there anyway. Also noticed that the big supermarkets do this too.

I work at Iceland and like the others have said the Turkey deal was a couple of weeks ago. and it is the fish and vienetta deal this week. If I can I'll try and find out whether it will be on again before Christmas but I would seriously doubt it now that there is only a couple of weeks to go. Did hear mention of January sale again though like last year. Will keep you posted.

Just thought I'd give you a quick update. Half price sale is on loads of pizzas, nuggets etc etc. But also big joints half price. We had beef, pork, ducks and full leg of lamb all going for around the £4 mark. Nuts and other Christmas stock were also going through the tills at half price even though shelf price was still up at full. Things were going faast though so be quick!
