Loan Cancellation Service..???
I have recently been informed by a 'money solicitior' that my Personal Loan Agreement with a well known High Street Bank is flawed and that for a fee they can challenge the loan.
They are 100% sure that they can win the case & that in turn the loan will be cancelled & I will no longer have to pay a penny.
Has anyone else had experience of this? I would appreciate some thoughts.

why should you get out of paying? it will make loans for others far more expensive...
and your money solicitor (yer right) is just a con man.....and you want to join him in trying to con the loan company out of the money they lent you in good faith....grow up!!!.It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Or.....
The OP was going to re-register with a different name to link to a fantastic offer by professional people who will make it all go swimmingly well..0 -
Amazing how many judgemental people ar eposting on this site about fulfilling obligations to pay etc. what about the loan I was given when I was 18 when I was already in to much debt that I still have now I'm 30, and the fact I've already paid way more than the loan itself in repayments and charges, and the fact I can;t give my 2 year-old decent clothes or buy a home for my family? We all make mistakes, sometimes financially. The majority of pelpe using this site are in need of help of some kind and some, like myself, are possible quite scared about tackling their problems and finding out how to do it properly.
So take a good long hard look at yourself before making comments lile "you borrowed it so pay it back!" and other such unhelpful criticism like "it's acon you moron" with no actual factual basis to support the opinion. Are you really perfect? Are you in a position to morally judge how anyone else tries to resolve thier finances? If not then perhaps you should try and help those in need of advice instead of persecuting them.0 -

Don't tell me - they only want a small up-front fee which will be refunded once you've been successful?
Priceless.

The problem is that there will always be con men who will be willing to take advantage of the financially ignorant.
Sometimes a dose of "pointing out the bleeding obvious" is what's needed.
If you are truely scared at what a mess you've made of your life, then get yourself over the DFW board, start a thread and get some proper help."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

Sorry not to sound that sympathetic, but from what you posted it appears that you had your fun when you were 18 and then didnt like it when you had to settle up.0 -

Oh the irony! :rotfl::rotfl:
So basically you are ignoring the help that was offered and instead are just choosing to embarrass yourself.
Well done you :T"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

That's what life is about Mr Lucrii,
You have led a lucrative life spending £50,000 of other peoples money.
Now they want it back you have a ludicrous notion that you shouldn't be the one to pay it back!!
