The UK National Lottery have a prize draw to promote their online Scrabble game, but there is a "free entry route" (no purchase necessary). However, you must be over 16 and registered to play with the National Lottery online before your entry will be accepted. There is no need to enter a game or make a deposit. See below for email details for that free entry. Ignore the links if you are already a registered player.

2. The promotion will start at 07.00am on Thursday 16th October 2008 and will end at 02.00am on Friday 14th November 2008 (the 'Promotion Period').

4. To play National Lottery Instant Win games on the National Lottery website go to www.national-lottery.co.uk (the “Website”). If you are not already a registered player you will have to open a National Lottery Account to purchase an Instant Win Game.

5. Free Entry Route: Registered players can enter the Draw without purchasing any National Lottery games by sending an email to marketing@camelotinteractive.com. The email must be sent from the email address that is registered to your National Lottery Account, otherwise it will not be entered. The email must be received by Camelot during the Promotion Period. The subject of the email must state ‘Scrabble Prize Draw free entry route’ and must include your name, address, contact telephone number and confirmation that you are aged 16 or over, otherwise it will not be entered. Entries into the Draw are limited to one per registered player.

6. Entries not complying with these terms and conditions will not be valid.

7. The Draw will take place on Friday 21st November 2008.

8. There is one top prize available to be won consisting of a Sony Vaio VGN-NR32M/S laptop and a Scrabble 60th anniversary edition board game by Mattel. There are also four runners up prizes to be won consisting of a Scrabble 60th anniversary edition board game by Mattel.

Thanks for this rwgray, i received this email but discarded it as i thought it was just a sales gimmick to get you to buy their scratch catds, i didn't read the part about the NPN !! (too lazy to read all of their small print!!)

I am registered for this and I often play just for fun without making a deposit. I also won a prize draw previously with them....won an mp3 player and 5 scratchcards, which I also won a tenner!
