so i'm currently with cccs paying off my loans, cc and overdraft all with LLoyds. one with mbna. 6k to go. I opened a basic account with HSBC to have wages etc paid into. Then I got a letter from HSBC saying that I had abused the terms of my contract with them and they are closing my account in 30 days. But I only got the letter a week ago, meaning that my account will close next week.
I phoned HSBC but they were of no use so I've applied to open another account with Co-Op Bank.
In the meantime, my next wage will have to be paid into my Lloyds account as I've noone else to help out and I'm worried that they will get all my money. (I'm at the end of my overdraft)
what can i do?

There are other options than the co-op.
If you need a bank account in a hurry for your wages, then try Abbey. I made a same day appointment by phone, went into the branch and they gave me the account number straight away.
It's not a good idea to pay it into your lloyds account, they will probably just take it as a payment. I have a lloyds overdraft on my DMP and I am no longer able to make any withdrawls, so anything that goes in, just reduces my overdraft.LBM : March 2008
