provident help

first time iveever posted on here but am an avid reader was hoping someone could give me some advice i currently only receive incapcity beniift and have a huge provident bill which is costing me 47 a week and i just cant afford to pay it on top of day to day bills i also have other bills goin out and i just cant see a way forward help somebody please

    I would suggest three things

    1. Talk to your local crdit union - they may allow you to take out a much cheaper loan to pay the provident off

    you can find the nearest one to you here

    They specifically work with people on low incomes, so they will understand exactly where you are coming from.


    Speak to one of the debt charities http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help as it csounds like there are problems with more than just the provident/

    And post up an SOA as people here are really good at finding ways of making money go further.

    You might also find http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/protect/make-money useful as well. Most of the options are OK if you are on benefits but not mystery shopping which has to be declared as income.

    I would advise you to seek advice from your local CAB from my experience prov tend to work well with the CAB...they normally transfer the account to head office in bradford and suspend all interest.
