Hi,
My wife and I are currently in a DMP with payplan but have recently been contacted by a solicitor on behalf of RBS regarding the outstanding loan (unsecured) we have with them £34,000.
They have said that if we do not paid 80% of this within the next 2 weeks then it's going to court. I'm i right in thinking that they will be looking to increase what we pay them or will they be asking the court to try and get us to sell our house.
When we took this loan out we were not told that we were at the maximum of our borrowing and would not be able to use our overdraft we had at the time, Would this be Misselling?.
Our total debt is £41,000 and at the moment is due to be paid off around Oct 2023.
Thanks in advance for any advice

speak to Payplan about this call. I think the solicitors are using scare tactics on you. If it does go to court, from the other threads i have read, they would only get the dmp amount anyway.
After all, they can't get what you don't have!! :rotfl:
(i think that should be the MSE motto!!)Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!
