Biro Ink Stain,please Help

Does anyone know how to remove biro ink from material.
Today whilst I was at work my pen leaked ink all over my overall pocket.
My overall is pale blue,the ink is black!!!!!!!!.
Please help if you can.

when my son gets ink on his school shirts i spray them with hair spray over the ink then wash it,that usually works cos it dissolves it cos its a solvent
