New Currys Store opened this morning in Wednesbury (West Midlands) and is selling at bargain price.

People had cued up since yesterday evening and also M6 J9/10 was really heavy this morning because of that.

Careful everyone!
Some people was arrested for fighting over goods in store. That tells you there must be something interesting.....Titch0 -
My partner and his dad queued from about 6 last night. They got a 40" LCD Samsung telly for £279 each and snooper sat navs for 19.99 (amazon are doing them for £193). PS3 s were £199.99 instead of £299.99. There were lots more deals than advertised aswell.
There were fights and police were called and the road was blocked off for a time.The most successful people are those who are good at plan B.:)0 -

Why was the stock not sent to other branches? Would of made them a hell of a lot more money...Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0

Just heard on the local news that the surrounding roads are returning to normal now...and that around 3000 people queued to get in the store0

My hubby got there about half past six this morning (we had no idea that you would need to go the night before!). He joined a mile long queue and at 7.15 was told that all the bargains had gone. Apparently they opened at 6.20am. Oh well, a lesson learned! Would have loved a bargain satnav though......!

They had refurbished the old currys, I think they have made hell of a lot of money too, if people went in for bargains, they would probably buy something else as well.The most successful people are those who are good at plan B.:)0
