I have been trying to book a flight from Belfast International to Tenerife South for the past three weeks but the site always promises that " The route is currently on sale between the 14th Oct. 2008 and Fri. 24th Oct.2008. We are unable to proceed with your booking." These dates change ,as in the past other dates have been quoted which came and went with the dates just being moved along, up the calendar.
A friend phoned the company a month or so ago enquiring as to when the tickets could be booked and was told that the information is confidential.
It can't be a landing slots problem as these should have been arranged months ago.
I hope that this very useful and fairly cheap flight is not going to fold and be a victim of the downturn that we are experiencing. Any time I have been on it, it has been full.
Anyone any inside information ??

You could try the low fare finder option, which brings up all available flights for that month. Just checked and there's only a handful of flights available.Mum to 2 cheeky little monkeys!Usborne Books at Home Organiser0

Thanks for all the replies.
Yes, could book for October at one time but need January 2009. The Low Fare selection gives me the same response that the routes will be available for booking mid- October for a couple of weeks. I simply can not book for January on line at present.
SMAMFER, would appreciate it if you could suss things out from your end and see what you come up with. Thanks in advance.0 -
The information I have is that Jet2 are not operating this route from BFS this winter. The aircraft that served it will no longer be based in BFS leaving only a daily LBA service and a ski flight at weekends.Timmay!0

Jet2 aren't flying to Tenerife from Belfast any more, they have put quite a few new destinations on for next summer though0
