Can anyone offer some advice?

Hi all,
As previously mentioned I have sent off the CCA request letter (with £1, which was cashed) and then the CCA12+2days and CCA12+2+30 days letters. After I sent the final letter I received a reply saying they do not agree with the letters and will be sending me my CCA shortly which is held in (name of branch). I left at this thinking I'll receive the CCA soon, about 2months later I received some letter demanding full and final settlement, so I rang up metropolitan and said I have not had the CCA which I was told this does not matter. Anyway after advice on this forum I ignore this and have had a letter from solicitors who say they are acting on behalf of metropolitan and I have 7 days to make full payment or legal action will start. Since I have not had a CCA does anyone know what I should do? Do I just ignore it and let legal proceedings start? Or do I write to the legal company and say the account is in dispute? If so is there a draft letter anywhere?
Thanks for any advise.0 -

It wont hurt to write to these solicitors just advisng that the account is in dispute and that their client has now broken the law by not supplying the CCA within the required time limits send the letter recored and dont sign just print name.0

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you the account is currently in dispute. I have written to your client and asked for a copy of the credit agreement on Tuesday 24th June 2008. This was sent via recorded delivery and signed for on (ENTER DATE AND DELIVER REFERENCE NUMBER) and the £1 cheque which was enclosed was also cashed. After receiving no response a follow up letter was sent on Tuesday 24th July 2008, this was again signed for on (ENTER DATE AND DELIVER REFERENCE NUMBER). I received a response saying the Credit agreement will be sent in due course. However as I still have not received the credit agreement I sent a further letter on Tuesday 12th August. Again I received a response from your client stating they did not agree to the points I have made and the credit agreement will be sent to me soon. However to date I still have not received a credit agreement and believe your client has broken the law by not supplying a credit agreement.
Yours Sincerely,
Mr. ABC
Thanks for any advise.
