Wanted- tv parental control card system

Hi, my wife and I have just fininshed watching 'Honey..We're killing the kids' and the man on there had a gadget to limit the amount of TV their kids were watching. Easy, you might say- just turn off the tv, but............ the system allowed the use of a yellow and a red card which would automatically take off a set amount of time from their viewing allowance.
As a gadget man
I like the look of it so I was wondering:
1) Does anyone know the system used ?
2) Where to get it, how much does it cost and is it easy to set up ?
Many thanks in advance

Oh dear, why use a third party - a gadget - to control how much telly kids watch. Treat them as responsible individuals and negotiate with them. Make sure their lives are interesting enough not to want to watch too much telly anyway. If you're into gadgets think of another one that will amuse you, a gadget isn't really a very good substitute for communicating and being a family. This may not be what you expected to read, however if you make the gadget control fun for the kids it might be more acceptable to them. Don't be surprised if they think you are the parents from hell over this!0

easier said than done for some parents Dora, but there are a lot of kids out there that have tv's in the bedrooms, (dont have to negotaite my way there yet as my two are only 5 & 3) however other than ripping the tv's out of the kids rooms, i think this gadget sounds quite a good idea.0

Sorry- obviously didn't make it clear. Our kids only watch a couple of hours and do plenty of other stuff- swimming, akido, play games, read with us, eat as a family at table with tv off.
It's more for the control re red and yellow cards- 10 mins off tv etc. Just makes it easier to remember punishments. It also avoids them playing one parent off the other with *** said I could watch for longer and you can't check because the other is at workDivorce all finished- now to start saving for a better future!0 -
Thanks Funky-footprints for the support
& Tigermatt for the suggestion.
I have tried Googling, Kelkoo etc but haven't found it yet. I will let people know if and when I find it.Divorce all finished- now to start saving for a better future!0 -
This isn't the one featured in the show (we have yet to find that one) but this one does similar things although without the red/yellow cards. Its £24.95 from The GadgetStore.com.He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0

Found a cheaper one! One piece of paper coloured red, one piece of paper coloured yellow, powered by parental energy so both money saving and environmentally friendly!0
