Do you have a Lidl, Netto or Aldi near you? I;ve saved loads since shopping in Lidl. You can certainly reduce your groceries - do batch cooking and freeze, take sandwiches to work etc.
I have loads of charity shops near me and I enjoy rummaging around in them. Bought some designer stuff for virtually nothing!
You've also allowed nothing for contents insurance?Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

This is quidco
http://www.quidco.com/ It is free to set up, but they charge you a yearly fee of £5(which they take out of comission) it is worth it though even if you have to wait a bit for your money..it will open your eyes.:rotfl:
If you get a quote, save the number then go in through the link on quidco. You can even access some of the comparison sites through quidco and gain some money ..not a lot, but it is there. Just browse and take your time over it.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
