Can you advise me on low energy bulbs.
Many of my light fittings are not run of the mill ones (recessed down lighters, chandeliers, candelabras, that sort of thing).
BUT I want to change to energy saving bulbs where I can.
In my living room, I can use them in the standard lamps:D
But I want advice about the bedroom lamps. I use low level lighting (20w or 25w bulbs), the energy saving bulbs seem to be the equivalent to 60w or 100w, is there anywhere (not expensive) to buy lower wattage?
Also outdoor lighting, I've put a low energy bulb in my outdoor lantern:D
But what about my 150w floodlight on the side of the house.
Also I need to buy a new floodlight for the back, the last one was 1000w & it was too bright:rolleyes: I was thinking 500w, are there low energy equivalents for these?
Thank you:beer:

Ikea have a good range of compact fluorescent lamps though they are mostly screw fitting. tesco have got a wider range now as well. Can't help with your outside halogens , I hate the things myself..That gum you like is coming back in style.0
