Hi can any one help me end this nightmare, at the start of this year i lost my job, and wnet straight out and found another, unfortunally the pay was a lot lower £4,000 per year, I had two loans and two credit card the total was £10,000, and i was paying £300 per month which at the time i could afford, but with my new job I was unable to meet these payments and the usual happend my bank overdraft was rising anyway it got to the point where i was forced into a debt managment plan (Payplan), I now have another job which is better paid and would like to pay of my creditors and come off the debt managment plan but no company will look at me I have tried loads for a unsecure loan all have turned me down, can anyone please suggest a company that will understand my situation and help.

Hi,
A couple of years ago I to lost my job and also had to go for a repayment plan through CCCS.
I very much doubt getting a loan to wipe out a repayment plan would be of benefit to you!
If you have defaults they will last 6 years and then if you have no-debts you can apply for an un-secured loan.
I am sticking with my DMP unitll all delafts are about to be lifted, I would not go for a loan which will increase the life span of your debt!
The only credit I can get is if I secure it on my house..........no thanks!
Hope this helps you?

:santa2: Hi Tikki,
I am by no means an expert yet,!! "but I intend to be soon", can you not just pay more into your debt managment plan to settle you debts sooner, surely taking out a loan is just compounding the issue.:wall:
