bless ya bob...hanx for the offer :) speaking of hobbling, went back to see ortho-doc this week...he's going to straighten my leg to ease pressure on my knee - it involves cutting a wedge-shaped piece of bone from the longer, less worn side of leg bone below the knee, thus straightening it and relieving the stress on the bad side

on the bright side, he had his done 20-odd years ago and says it's brill once it's healed :)

They did this with me and crossed some ligaments  Worked a treat. I was in pain for a bit whilst it healed but after about three months i felt like i had a new lease on life:D You won't regret it.

    ...although, he didn't mention ligaments...that must've REALLY hurt :(

Mine was unstable as well so something had to be done as i kept falling at strange mens feet:rotfl: :rotfl:
That was more painful i can tell you, felt like my knee was constantly knocking itself out. In the end i gave up waiting for ambulance or A and E to put it back, so i knocked it back in myself:o
The operation sorted all of that and made me walk all proper. Unfortunately no Key hole because of what was involved, but i never wear mini skirts anyway..the world couldn't cope:rotfl: :rotfl:
