I am thinking ISOM was in a mischevious mood yesterday..
Well am feeling less pained today, but have a bit of a temp so at least i save on the heating.
Debt busting wise have begun to make a spreadsheet for the year with goals as in when stuff should be paid off. I like the snowball calculator for that. I have also included Birthdays as there are a few biggies this year, so have set *mini* goals for that as in vouchers etc. If i have to resort to using ccards then i have some inbuilt motivation to boot me!
So this year, friends 50th in feb
DD2's 18th
Nephew's 18th
Parents in law 50th wedding anniversary
DD1's graduation.
Not including general birthdays..lol.
I think any hols have been taken up with Geographical locations so will be looking at a week's break maximum. But will save us money in the long run.
Ooeerrr!
Hope everyone has a good one .
Bob x
Edit to say i forgot about a 60th as well..lol and a party to go to..but i will enjoy that.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

That doesn't sound too bad, Bob - on one of my train journeys last weekend, I got bored and worked out I'd subsidised Christmas without really trying to the extent of about £110, I was flabbergasted. Its a really big help!
Look after that temp of yours - remember you need some heat in the house to heal, not just let the temp take care of you!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Shocking when you look at all really. I am trying to work on the one wage principle then everything else goes off debts and necessaries. I am also thinking we definately need new windows. I went around with a sealing gun before Christmas and i am not sure whether they will weather the weather..praying i can get another year out of them.
I would feel really uncomfortable with the heating on..am not a great fan of central heating anyway (except for drying of washing). Will put it on at about 4pm for the evening.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Lovely 'other person' is back from greece for 6 months. Saw her today ( is working at same place as before ) and will be able to see her almost every day:D . Now we can take the pressure off, after the 'explosion' before Xmas, and talk a bit more sensibly about possibilities.
Rolo is doing his nut, looking at me, then walking boots....better take him out!

Thanks Bob. Its a case of what will be will be. The 'all-or-nothing'-ness ( sort that one out Grammar-Check! ) has gone, good. Who knows, being extra truthful at home about what is right/wrong may lead to a completely different conclusion to that which we were aiming at at Xmas.
And no, we wont be meeting up for anything other than coffee on a daily basis....as before! So not being a complete !!!!!!, possibly?
Feeling a lot happier and less under-pressure though which can only be a good thing for all involved.
Thats it for now, soul bared.
