Free: Waterstone's Loyalty Card

Options
Sorry if posted before - couldn't find it.

I was in Waterstones today and was told about a new loyalty card that they now have - people can apply in-store or online https://www.waterstones.com/waterstonescard

It is free and easy to join.

This card is very much like the Boots Advantage card where you hand it over when you make purchases from the store and earn points. What is handy about this card is that you can also earn points online.

You get 3 points for every £1 spent

You get exclusive benefits too:

Emails featuring book reviews, news on the latest titles and competitions to read and review books before they are published.

double points and bonus points on books by some of your favourite authors

invitations to exclusive shopping events

free copies of Waterstone's Books Quarterly magazine when you visit our shops

Hope this is of use to budding bookworms everywhere:D

I think that Waterstones are owned by HMV and I think they have connections to WHSmith. Card is only for Waterstones though.
  • This card has been going for a while I think. I am sure I have had mine since March. It does work like Boots advantage card, except you can put the amount on your card towards the cost of the book. So if you have £1 on your card then you can get a £1 off your next purchase regardless of how much it is.

Yes, it's my sole reason for now signing up for one. I can get cheaper books at Amazon or even borrowing from the library or going to charity shops...but I do love competitions!!:D
  • Same here - some great comps on their website for card holders only.
