YesI ordered and recieved the monitor without a hitch and am sorry that so many of you haven't and probably will not get one, I hope you do.
Over 60,000 have viewed the DELL 26" thread on this forum, it has recieved attention on the AV forums and other moneysaving forums which must push the interest level to well over 100,000.
Whilst DELL should be able to cope with large demand, I ask the question are these forums sometimes the authors of their own destruction ?
We've seen it before, a mad rush via the net to buy cheap goods, we've crashed the servers of some pretty big companies in our clamour for cheap goods, almost to the point of a Denial of Service attack.
Could DELL have foreseen the chaos such an obviously huge order would have on their stock and distribution system ?
Are DELL to blame ? why do we always look to blame someone ? sometimes its just life.
DELL have done what they can for the lucky few who got in early enough, their ordering systems messed up and said you had bought one when they had obviously run out.
Get over it, move on and wait for the next offer, I'm sure it'll be round the corner, just get in early next time.
A painful message to those of you who've let this get under their skin, but after all its only a telly !0 -
YesAs the author of the original post I feel bad for those that didn't get the TV.
I do have to say thought that I agree pretty much with the comments mjr600 makes and I take them to heart myself. I may have felt the same way if I didn't get my TV. .0 -

Great set no problems found.
I feel sorry for all of you who have been let down by this company.
It would have been easy for them to have found unsold stock and then to have processed your order.
What happens if under Warranty in the next 12 months our sets break down, how will they fulfill their obligation under this warranty?
I am also suprised Martin has not tried to help you with the press contacts he has. Very poor.

I think Flimber on here has had his faulty set replaced with other faulty sets and refurbs. So I'm not sure what they will do.As of this morning, I'm on my third set in nine days and it's a refurb0
