Just seen this on the Argos website - sorry can't get link to work! Its an Acoustic Solutions 26" HD LCD TV for £199. This seems like a bargain to me - does anyone know if this tv is any good? Im looking for a cheap TV for my sons bedroom for him to play his Xbox 360 on.

i've been searching out the best deals for a 26" LCD TV for the past few days and this is the best one i've seen so far. I've pre-ordered and gonna pick it up tonight.0

Does anyone know if this is a good TV, I want one for the bedroom and this looks ideal but I'm unsure if this is as good a deal as it looks?0
-
for a kid i would reckon it would be fine as they are not likely to be notice the lack of brightness or pixelation or sharpness of the picture on screen but as for a main tv i wouldnt recommened it. Then again, iv never seen the tv switched on so i could be wrong.
And the reviews on argos by nearly 40people seems to indicate its a good buy.0 -
I have one of these pre-ordered for Tuesday.
Has anyone wall mounted one of these and if so, what bracket have you used?
I was looking at a double-armed one on ebuyer for £25 but it says is sticks out 3.8" from the wall when flat.... add 10cm depth of the TV and that is gonna stick quite far out....0 -
not sure if they still do it but last year they were doing half price brackets when you bought a tele i think ^0

Just realised that this tv is 400 x 200 VESA meaning its not compatible with any brackets Argos sell - nice one Argos.....
Also noticed a buzzing coming from one of the speakers so going to take it back and try another.... anyone else got one and had this problem?

Don't worry, they are back up to £269 now.... for that price you can get this size / standard of tv from other places....
