Thanks
but there is still no rates to pay unlike here!0 -
It appears its just for openers.........foot in the door, the republic had been taking in 18% of its gross taxation via the housing market and associated activities up until last year, thats now down to small single figures within just a 1 year time frame.
They are now desparate to recoup monies from whom ever and where ever thay can.......be afraid....be very afraid.........if you've a holiday home in the Republic!!!
PS And now you can't even give them away!0 -
€200 council tax is nothing for a holiday home. emphasis on holiday home. I am considering buying a holiday home in the republic around the Galway area but I think i'll wait a while to see if the Irish market settles.0
