Littlewoods account and CRA's

I have a littlewoods catalogue account that is now settled:T and has been for a couple of months, last year (about June time) I remember making a few late payments on some of my debts, none of these were more than a month though. I have just got a copy of my credit file as I have recently been refused a credit card and couldn't understand why as I have made ontime payments on everything now for at least a year.
I have noticed that for a start the report is showing I am not on the electoral roll (we are as we moved house in March this year, we have checked with the council but they don't update with the CRA's until 1st December:mad: ) but when I checked the Littlewoods account, last year it is stating my payments were 3 months late!!!, (it says in the last 36 months, the number of status 1-2 is 3 and the number of 3+ is 1)now I know this is not true, but as I have essentially closed the account now, I don't have any statements from 18 months ago so not sure what to do
Would this still be having a bearing on my current credit rating?, should I contact Littlewoods and ask them to amend it? or should I just forget it about it now with it being over a year ago?
How long is payment history taken into account when creditors are making decisions?
