Welcome - Refund Late !
We cleared the noose around our neck earlier this year. Paid the over the top settlement fee, but it was gone at last.
I got a letter off them this week saying that the figure was wrong and that they were giving me £1275 back and that it would be on or before the 14/10/08.
Upto now 9:05am on the 15th only a mysterious £81 has appeared in my account which they say is a "pre payment" the bloke in tsb said that he had taken loads of calls with the same thing happening.
So do I kick off and claim late payment fee's ?

Hi. for all Welcome loans I ask the same questions
how did you get the loan? Was it through an idependent forecourt for car purchase or was broker involved?
Do you have a copy of the agreement?
When did you take out the loan?
How much did you borrow?
Was PPI or other insurances added?
From that I can give you an idea of what can be done about the entire loan itself.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -
I think you got the wrong idea this is them paying me !!!
If I was late they charge , They are late I should charge them0 -
No I think you got the wrong idea.
There is probably far more money to come off them than you imagine but let them off with just what they are offering if you wish.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0
