i had a letter from a debt collection agency regarding a debt that has been passed to them by freemans. the letter is address to ny surname but has the wrong intials. does this mean anything even though i know this is meant for me?

Write back to them saying you dispute this debt as nobody by them initials live at your address and tell them to prove the debt is yours beforepaying a penny to them.0
