Surely this offer is for teachers and such like, that will actually use the packs to promote/encourage reading , not for individuals to apply for just because they fancy a few free pens etc
  • Definitely asks for the name of your organisation... ;)

Thanks - another really good site/campaign for organisations & groups providing/offering Longlife Learning Skills or for those involved in teaching English as a first or second language.

I cannot belive people can reply so negatively to freebie posts...everyone is different and with different wants, needs etc.....(climbing off soap box now)....Thanks! Excellent find! Great for Home Ed groups, so have applied on behalf of my group!! When I was an E2E Tutor these were the only books some learners had read!!!! Nice and quick to read!

I guess this remark was aimed at me, I agree this is a great freebie. I was merely trying to point out that only people who have a genuine use for freebies like this should apply for them. Anything that gets people reading has to be a good thing. I love a freebie just as much as the next person but all too often people seem to apply for stuff just for the sake of it.

Just a reminder that the closing date for ordering the Quick Reads packs seems to be 15th December, for delivery in February 09.
