debt help

I have debts of over £40,000 and am struggling to pay. I am due a windfall of over £120,000 in march 2019, just over 10 yrs away. Is there anyway i can get debt defered to then or get a loan now with a view to paying it of when i get my windfall.

  • I doubt it very much. Your best course of action would probably be to contact the CAB, CSSS or Payplan and work out a way to pay off your debts, then thoroughly enjoy the windfall when you get it!! :j

There are some great people on here who can help you cut back if you post your SOA (statement of affairs) with all your income and outgoings. It may be that you can manage your repayments and clear your debt just by making some cutbacks on everyday things.

  • Hi Keithboy

For us to give you the best advice you ened to pop up a statement of affairs (there is a handy template at www.makesenseofcards.com) which lists your income and expenditure. If you don't want to share that much on here then putting one together will help you to see exactly where you stand and also will be useful if you contact one of the not for profit debt advice agencies (here is link to a list of those that WON'T charge you: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help)

In answer to your question I can't think of any debt arrangement that would allow you to defer payment to that extent - sorry
