Pension Value

Hi
I am due to take early retirement in December at age 61 from a private company with a final salary pension scheme of which I have been a member for 20 years. Can anyone offer any advice as to the likely effect on the value of the pension due to the current turmoil. For information the company forecast a pension of £16500 back in June.
Thanks and best regards,
GDN

Final salary pensions are linked to your earnings and your length of employment so you shouldn't see any difference in the pension you recieve unless:
1) The company changes the terms/funding arrangements between now and December.
2) The company goes bust.FIRE !!!0
