I am trying to be healthy and also MSE... does anyone have a sauce recipe that I can make with natural yogurt? Something herby would be good as it has to go with chicken fillets and I need to go to the shop in ten minutes.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi, i have been looking for you but cant find an exact recipe.
Wondered if you could just mix the herbs and yoghurt together with seasoning and use as a dressing?
Yoghurt mint dip
1½ cups plain yogurt (you can use low-fat) 1 cup (packed) fresh mint leaves, finely chopped 3 to 4 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Sweet potato and yoghurt sauce
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes, yam-type, peeled, sliced 1/4-inch thick
2 tablespoons margarine
1 cup chopped onions
1 garlic clove, crushed
3/4 teaspoon dill, crushed
3/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Dried parsley, for garnish
Preparation
Procedure:
Steam sweet potatoes just until tender, about 6 to 10 minutes. To prepare sauce, melt margarine in small saucepan. Add onion, garlic, dill, paprika, salt and pepper.
Cook until onion is tender. Remove from heat. Stir in yogurt and lemon juice. Cook over low heat until heated through, about 1 minute. Pour sauce over potatoes and stir to coat. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
Yoghurt mixed with some pesto maybe? Or with a curry paste? Can bake chicken with cut up lemon/onion/courgette or some other bakable veg and stir yoghurt through before serving. Probably too late now though.0

Before you heat up yoghurt, you have to stabilise it by mixing it with a teaspoon of corn flour mixed with a little water. Put that in with the yog, stir and heat gently. That way it won't separate. You can add anything to it to make a sauce - cheese, herbs etc.0
