The only time I've tried using one of these in Tesco they didn't accept it - although they'll usually take pretty much anything. Should I try again?

Has anybody tried this voucher out yet? Will it scan at Tescos. I don't want to go and buy a load and find they aren't any good.

:xmassign: I use it at Asda. :rudolf: Some of the cashiers take it and it does scan.

Sorry for being thick here, but I don't really understand what the voucher is for! I buy a lot of books at Xmas, and I might like to use it for the purpose it was issued - is it for a particular book, or a particular shop, or what? Thanks very much to anyone that could let me know!

I've never got one of these book vouchers through before and have tried several times - even the lads that will normally take anything - I think they like me, but not that much :-(

    Hi,

Don't know about yesterdays but todays book voucher (in the mail) is for £4.00 off Cinnamon City by Miranda Innes. You can use the voucher most places that stock the book.

Also some people use the voucher for money off their normal food shopping at tesco or asda - some of these stores will let you use a coupon even if you don't buy the product as long as they stock it.

I haven't tried one of these book vouchers myself off my normal shopping- but i think sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't depending on the cashier.

    hope this helps
