Al Mac...........I love you!

I won the Worrel-Thompson comp for this Saturday with my local station Ocean FM!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j

We're staying in the 5 star Park Lane Intercontinental, All travel including our ferry is paid for and we have a meal voucher for £100 to spend in Notting Grill AWT's restaurant where our table is booked for 7pm :beer:

Some notes on this comp and radio comps in general...

As we really wanted this one I entered them all as listed by Al Mac, but be careful doing this as the prizes do vary, the lady from the PR company called me and listed my prize but didn't mention the £250 spending money that was in the text of the comp, I asked about it and she checked it out and it's only the bigger (richer) stations that had that part of the prize and Ocean didn't (no worries though we're still over the moon!) now if I go to the comp with Ocean by going through Al Mac's link that has the pasted comp ID on it, it says £250 spending, but if I browse to it through Oceans Web site, it has slightly different text and isn't included.

Now... the lady from the PR company knew I had entered them all but when I expressed embarrassment she said no, no thats fine, no worries at all, so that's good to know...

And finally, I don't know if you want to change the date and rquest it's taken out of Game Over Al Mac, as the text is now reading "dinner at AWT's on Saturday 1st", so it's obviously still open for the final round of prizes oh and the question has changed.

Phew! that was long winded but hope it helps some of you and finally, finally.........
