I have Candid collections (simply be) on my credit file showing as default.. I got the debt written off as they failed to supply me with my true signed copy.. Is there a way to get them to come off my credit file? I am sure i read somewhere that they need my permission to be on my file? It is only them that are on my file bad, all other debts have come off or are satisfied..
Thanks for any help you can give..

It sounds as if the debt was written off on a technicality because it is not enforceable through the county court. Presumably you still technically owe the money; after all, you borrowed it without paying it back - perhaps that's why it still shows on your credit file.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

The debt is not written off if the company cannot produce a CCA request it just means that they cannot enforce the debt but it will still show that the money is outstanding.0
