KazKaz was this your first time in court with First Plus? Or had they already taken you to get a charging order?

I'm probably jiggered then because I went last year and have fallen behind with what the judge told me to pay. Might be looking for an Inn and they are usually full this time of year.

Can someone tell me if I will get an opportunity to pay this lot their 2k between now and the time they tell me to get out? I'm hoping it will take them a couple of weeks to get the eviction order and give me a little time to beg steal or borrow. Really scared now that as soon as they send the inevitable letter I'll be out. Just a shame Barclays won't give me some of my 4k charges back.

Just been to the repossession hearing this morning.

The judge ruled to pay to contractual payment of £440 (I have never been given this amount, FirstPlus wanted me to pay £475 as they wouldn't pass on an APR decrease whilst we where in arrears) + £50 off the arrears, no time scale just until they are paid Approx 6 1/2 years.
The FirstPlus representative just marched in and said they wanted possession in 28 days. Well they didn't get it.
The judge also, off record I presume, told us to go for mis-selling of the PPI as these policies are no use anyway, then the repayments would be reduced.

    Very nice judge
Very nice judge who obviously knows what they are like really. Have you sent you PPI letter in yet..

Join the PPI reclaiming thread and there are lots on there including myself who can help you...

I can check. I think I can remember the nice man from Barclays telling me I couldn't have the loan if I didn't take it. More concerned about the get out letter at the moment.

Bit of a bump really but I need to know if, now that I've missed their seven day deadline for paying my 2k arrears is there any chance I can keep my house if I can come up with the dosh in the next couple of weeks?

    Hi Marshallka

I faxed the PPI letter to them on Monday with a copy sent to their solicitors - Eversheds by e-mail.

I'm going to wait for the confirmation from the court then get FirstPlus to confirm everything in writing and also chase up the PPI fax.

Anyone any idea as to how late in the day I can give these people there arrears. I've done some googling and I reckon the next step will be a 28 day possession order.
