So what are you suggesting? That everyone with a loan they're not keeping up payments on gets it written off, subsidised by people that keep to the terms of their credit agreement?

Unfortunately this site is full of threads with posters that seem to think this sort of behaviour is to be applauded. Loads of :j and hugs are in order it seems.

They can normally be spotted by their signatures in which they state that they are 'proud to be dealing' with their debts by becoming bankrupt. They even have a club!!!!! Wonderful.

I currently owe Lloyds tsb 2 loans, totalling £14,000 and am in arrears, defaulted and am looking to get a settlement.
And it's people like you that started this problem by borrowing then not wanting to pay it back.
I for one will NEVER borrow money again, mortgage, loans, credit,
You're right there because your credit rating will be so bad you wont get a loan from anywhere.
If you read my post, im actually lucky to be able to settle my debts,
No you can't, or you wouldn't have been "in arrears, defaulted and am looking to get a settlement."
    ............
  • Well, I promise you all this.....THIS WILL COME BACK TO BITE YOU ALL! Go to bed with the devil and you will be burned, I will be debt free, you lot will be paying for the bail out, not me!

(Also, I am lucky, got a settlement figure today, for £14,000 im paying £6400 as full and final settlement)

Who needs credit anymore!! Not me thats for sure!! As for my credit rating, it can whistle for all I care!

    What an eloquent post.

Funny how a minute ago you were behind on your loan as you'd defaulted, now you've suddenly got £6400 to pay it off with.
And yet you don't need credit any more?
    OK...

Maybe a relative has agreed to step in and clear the debt.
  • Oh and by the way, just to all the ''home owners'', how many of you have ''actually'' paid your mortgages off??? Might seem nice thinking your s##t dosent stink in all this bank crisis etc, ripping me for taking debt out, but heres a wake up call....YOU DONT OWN your homes until that last penny has been paid, the mortgage company does, so your no different to me borrowing wise, apart from I will have paid my debt long before any of you have!

This just about sums you up - offensive, small-minded, rude and pretty much illiterate. I imagine your parents are very proud of you.
