Got cheese but not beer - maybe they got a sudden rush and only have a certain number of places?!0

Yep I've been accepted for the cheese too but only received an email from the beer saying it was great I wanted to join but how did I hear about it?

As I got no further email after saying a friend passed on the details, I'm assuming its a no go with them.JANUARY GROCERY CHALLENGE £23.30/£150

I still haven't had a reply from the beer one....maybe they've been inundated with applications from MSE'rs

I got the email from the cheese one which was a bit confusing as I'd already told them my address in my original email! Told them again so hopefully I'm on the panel now.0

I got an email for the cheese one so hopefully a nice piece of cheese to try next month as they said "when you get your first cheese ...........":TWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Does anyone know exactly how they'd get the cheese to you?
I am a little intrigued!
it can't be via royal mail.... it'd surely have to be kept chilled...in a cool bag or something? those refridgerated vans would be so expensive to use to send them??
or do you think they'd send a voucher to redeem somewhere?
Just a thought!!

I had a chilled dessert to test once and it came next day royal mail packed in dry ice.
The dessert was ok but I played for hours with the dry ice :jI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I've been wondering about that, but having cheese out of the fridge for a few days does no harm and sometimes actually improves it!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Got another email today, seems I'm on the panel and the first cheese to test is going to be sent out next week! As it's a blue cheese they say it needs to get into the cool pretty quickly, good job I'm getting it sent to work where we have a fridge! Thanks OP!
