On what grounds for being mis-sold a loan

I read on a post (i cant find it now ) but they were talking about being mis-sold a loan and they successfully won and got £20,000 back . Could anybody explain to me how you know if you think you may have a case .

I am on a DMP with CCCS most of my debts are with Lloyds TSB i took a loan with them for £8000 i did the application through internet banking where you are accepted instantly and they payed the £8000 instantly into my current account .One year later i applied again for another £10,000 online again the £10,000 instantly went into my bank account .I was quite suprised these loans were both accepted as i dont work i receive incapacity benefit ,child allowence & tax credits .I suffer from severe depression i think at the time i must have being really ill i cant believe i took these two loans mounting to £18,000 .

  • Being mis-sold something generally in my limited experience means that you were pushed, pressured or advised it would help you to get it when it wouldn't or alternatively purchased something without being aware.

IE: You didn't tick the PPI box and they did billed you for it.

I wouldn't know if you have grounds w/regards to applying online in truth. More details needed.
