It's not till 2010 but I'd like to find out what my options are if anyone can give advice!
We have a £92000 mortgage with Northern Rock, interest only, flat currently valued at £120000. I am a bit concerned because our income has dropped since taking out the original mortgage and we certainly wouldn't qualify for that figure again. We have never defaulted through being frugal but what happens when you re-apply? It's in my husband's name and he is on about £18 grand a year so going through a new mortgage company wouldn't work for us I guess - but are Northern Rock even renewing mortgages at the mo?
