Around january time,i got a rebate from welcome for my ppi.i then sent them a letter for my new balance and revised payment.i didnt get a reply.at the beginnig of january,i got a phone call from a scottish branch, regarding non payment
i told them that i was waiting for a reply to what my new payments would be.she then said "i dont know why we have got
your account"and to contact my local office.i then sent two letters, one too head office, and one to my local one.once again,no reply.i sent a further two letter, but recorded delivery.these were signed for, but, yes, you got it,no reply to me
on the 9th of this month,my partner rang me at work to tell me that a letter had been posted un-addressed,she had opened it and it was from welcome, they had paid me a visit.this was from their bolton branch(my account has ended up somewhere else again).i rang bolton branch, and after a very stroppy conversation, she slammed the phone down on me,all because i wouldnt give my mobile number, and told them that the way they make their money from home visits is wrong.if they would have addressed the letter,i could have arranged too be in.she tried too say that they couldnt get intouch with me(which is a lie, because they have rang me at work a few times over the past couple of years)she also said that she didnt know why they had got my account.
so im still at square one.were do i go from here.
they just will not reply too me,and when i ring, they just keep putting the phone down.
can someone offer me some advice please!!!

Sure, do you have a copy of the agreement?

If you can scan the agreement and send it to me I will have a look over it for you. I may be able to find you some bullets

    regards

ok IF you cancelled the ppi in 30 days of taking the loan out they will recalculate the payment... you would have had to sign new paperwork to this effect

if it was any time after that they dont reduce the payments... the ppi is done through a 3rd party so any refund will come off the balance, however it will not reduce the payments but only reduce the term of the loan and you are required to maintain payments as per the contract...

probably not what you wanted to hear but that is where you stand with it
