The only other thing i can suggest other than the credit union is to ask your loans for a payment holiday so that you can hopefully get the payday loans sorted out.

You need either cheaper credit, less expenditure or debt payments or increased income.

The credit is not going to be easy or quick to get.
Reducing the debt payment may work but it may depend on how you have managed your loan accounts, how long you have been paying it for and if the banks are feeling more generous now they have been given a few billion.
Increasing income will help, but again it wil be a slow process and not be an immediate solution to the payday loans dilema.

Might be worth giving citizens advice a ring to see if they can advise anything else for dealing with the payday loans.

Hi,

Well done for facing up to your debt, I hope some of the advice here is helping. I hope you don't think it's cheeky of me to post on your thread but I am currently making a documentary for BBC 1xtra about young people and how we deal with money and Over spending. I would love to chat to you about facing up to your money issues. This programme is looking to give advice and to help young listeners not make the same mistakes and is in no way judgmental. It can also all be kept completely anonymous if you want.

If you would be prepared to have a chat with me please call me on 02074531610 and I will call you straight back or drop me an email at flip.cardigan@unique.com

Many thanks for your time.

Best of luck with it all
