    Hi!
I too love Amazon, but beware, they do seem to contract things out.
Tried to order three packets of crayons last week.
    Crayons were 99p each.
Postage 16.20 because Amazon was selling them for another store.
    No thank you very much!!

I've tried a wee experiment with SVP (no not St Vincent DePaul) and ordered 4 usb sticks. Instead of plumping for £8-9 northern ireland delivery, i've lobbed in 3.50 for mainland postal delivery.
Consider it an attempt at online haggling - in these recessionary times..

  • If you have a Smyths nearby, I would check there first. I think this set (or almost identical - a few other toymakers have the same set in their own packaging) can be got at a lot less than £40. From memory, I think we got ours in Smyths, but certainly did not pay that price. There are usually two size options, with different amounts of experiments. Can really recommend it though. Versions have been around for a good few years now. Guess it is just being re-marketed at moment.

Ive had a look at something very similar in Smyths and am considering it because they have the 'hot wires' set in school and the one in Smyths is slightly different.

Another wee question for you all..........PSP 3000 +fifa 09 is on play.com for £139 and is generally £149 everywhere else. Has anyone ever been hit with customs charges ordering from Play?

Ive spent a lot of money on play but its always been on cheaper items which are sent out seperately, are we liable for customs charges on the more expensive things?

edit: having done another search psp is at the same price in HMV so I think Ill stick to bricks and mortar shopping on this one lol.
