Christmas dinner - Newcastle/North Tyneside

Me, my OH, parents and possibly other family members (it's a long story) are going out for Christmas Day Dinner.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in our area that we aren't gonna have to sell all our worldly possessions to afford?

I'm a pit yakka by birth, live in Waaaaallsend and work in Mackemland, so not sure if I qualify for true Geordie status.

most local bars do Christmas dinner if you don't want to sell body parts to pay for it....if you don't mind selling body parts you could go somewhere swanky like the copthorne on the quay, lol.
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!
  • for swanky i'd go to the Alnwick Treehouse. Absolutely beautiful
