Hi
I have never really understood pensions and have usually saved instead of put in a pension.
I have a final salary pension scheme run by the company I work for and I invest something like 5% in there a month which is the max
I have about £1000 savings after all of this - should I be investing this in sort sort of extra pension investment which would top up my pension in the future or should I be happy with the 1K saving a month and leave as is?
