Teenage boys/young men ideas please

Is it just me but every year it gets harder to buy for this group..... unless I am aware of specific hobby/interest it is very hard to find something I think they will like. Their sisters are easy peasy in comparison, you can pick up bits easily and cheaply and make a nice hamper at no great expense, but the boys ......

Anyone ideas? I have trawled through some pages, I have seen some lovely pictures of hampers for babies, children, grannies and even boyfriends but the teenage/young man seems to be well hidden

TIA

Firebox have some novel items - think there was a £5 off coupon on the Freebie board last week -worth trying a search there and having a look at the website -sorry haven't got full link but google in Firebox and you'll find it.:j
Good luck - it's not easy. I've a teenage grandson and he's got just about everything he needs so he's having a box of 'fun stuff' this year and if he looks hard enough among some of his jars of this and that he may find a bit of cash and a lottery ticket.............lol

There is a firebox £5 voucher here...

I have recently ordered from these and it was fast delivery! I also have 2 items on pre order! All paid with by one of these £5 vouchers

edit: humph! Just clicked the firebox link and it says "Only ONE Gift Voucher may be used per order"

Ah well you don't know unless you ask, or I read it properly the 1st time :D

being a teenage boy myself, i would recommend the following:
    itunes/music vouchers
iPod dock (unless they don't have an iPod) (heres a link to a good cheap one http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/7126953/Play-com-iPod-iPhone-Speaker-Dock-With-Alarm-Clock/Product.html)
magazine subscription (top gear, stuff, etc etc)
    vouchers for shops they like
    video games

  • My kids have enjoyed a few inexpensive bits of "memory lane" potty putty, bubbles, modelling balloons, a magic trick, a game, a dvd from a favourite kids programme, an annual from an old favourite etc
  • there is a link on the grabitnow board i think for 12 issues of fhm for £12 seems a good deal
