    Oh the joys of Tern.

I signed up with them, but was put off by the idea of having to do a test visit... but I keep meaning to go for it again having heard good things off the forum. Will get onto it when my essays from uni are out of the way!

P.S were do you live, i cant see any travel agents on G???

I don't actually know if I can see the ones we're talking about actually, the only ones I have on there aren't new, they've been there for ages. They are for a major high street chain and pay £6 - I don't know if they are the ones we're talking about or not?

But I live in the West Midlands anyway.

I don't think you have to be invited - ironically they're all over my page from a wide geographical area but I don't want any of them!

Try searching for assignment 524250337 and see if you can see that one....
Thanks but "The assignment number/s you have entered is/are invalid. Please try again." If I search by client none of them are travel agents, there are mobile phone places, betting shops, burgers, pizzas, corner shops, coffee, sandwiches, and stamp shops.

Yep, assignment no 524250337 does refer to the ones I think we're talking about. But I only have 45 on mine, and they've been there for aaaaagggggeeeesssss! And yes, the fee is crap!

Yes, I think the fee for travel agents is particularly poor also. I was half worried I'd get sacked as I gave my visit a mediocre report (and it was the customer service manager that served me!).

I have a job tomorrow and there is a Gap travel agent just a few doors from where I have to go anyway. However, I just don't think it's worth it for the fee. I know I'll be there anyway, but when you consider the preparation time, then the job, then the report, I just don't think it's worth bothering with. Am I being particularly stupid?

Not really, I don't think I would bother for that fee... you will be in the shop for at least 30 minutes... listen to someone try to make their commission by giving you the hard sell... which in this case is a dream holiday that I would give my eye teeth for but can't afford at the moment! Then you have to go home and try and remember how many lamp posts were outside the shop and what colour underpants the tramp sat on the wall opposite had on... so not worth it!

I'd give you twice the fee to see you find out! :rotfl:
