  • You should get that in the post today or tomorrow. Either I got paid a bit more from TNS or GR have paid as well. Managed to get 2 more jobs from GR yesterday as well as one for OC so I'm not looking too bad. As it's my birthday today I decided not to book any jobs but apart from that I've got 1 or 2 on a day for the next week x

    Happy Birthday!!! :j

P.S , Money in bank from GR!!! :D

Do you mean they'll say "Have a meal on us" or invite you to have a free meal at one of their "restaurant" clients, enticing you to do a job you wouldn't do for five times the fee? :rotfl:

Just a quick query. Many of my MS assignments are near to my workplace, so I go there on foot from work but still travel from home to work by train. I know I can't use my train fare towards my tax return (!!), but does anyone know if you can claim a mileage fee for walking?!

You can only claim mileage for mileage you've done, sadly. Unless you can prove to HMRC that your feet need replacing (at a cost) every so often, and need fuelling! :p
  • Unfortunatly not...but would be a good incentive if they did!

  • how do people apply for visits with CRI, React, Performance for People and Assosia please? Do you have to check their websites or are we contacted by them when a job becomes available??? Thank you for your replies!
