It wasn't me! I think it was Flickering Ember that was chased from the offie?
It was me who didn't get paid due to the rude jewellry man not letting me handle his stuff!
Ah such is life Becles I often meet salesman who won't let me handle their stuff. Is it do you think because they cannot multitask. Maybe someone should do a PhD on this.
Like Msc. Hons. Phd (hons) thesis was on wonem unable to handle mens stuff

I couldn't agree more. Like you I am a veggie so I don't see burger jobs either. I was never sent the email about priority access to stamp shops.
The odd thing is that when I checked my completed jobs for last month I actually did 3 pizza jobs and 1 chicken job (take out of course so I can give the stuff away:p ) but there are no stamp shops showing for me either
It seems that it really is restricted to burger eaters only:mad:
Same here - I've done a few pizzas and chickens, so it isn't just fast food, it's obviously restricted to one specific client. Not fair!
Also, I am concerned that when I search jobs by client, the stamp place doesn't even show on the list. It's not just because there are no jobs right now, because all the other clients that I know of are showing but I only have pizza jobs visible. Any ideas why the client has vanished from my list? I guess I could email Gap but I'd like to know the answer this side of Christmas!!!0 -
My GAP money has gone in0

Bare are paying tomorrow apparently, the accounts department have confirmed that there have been delays in payment for Octobers work.“A banker is the fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.” Mark Twain0

Any financial whizz-kids around please? Can I ask a dumb question please?
Just trying to update my accounts records. With Gap there are some food jobs where they insist you buy x costing £xx but they only reimburse you a specified amount, which is slightly lower than the amount they insist you spend. Now, I assume (please correct me if I'm wrong) it's ok to claim the actual spend amount as an expense because I was told that's what I had to order. Is that right?
Secondly, another company specify I have to buy whatever I want for 'around £5' and they will reimburse exactly £5 (or less if I spent less). So, if I spent £5.99, can I claim £5.99 as an expense because I had to buy something, or can I only claim the £5 reimbursement amount, because technically it was my choice to spend over the £5 (although I didn't actually see anything costing less than that, but maybe I could have if I'd looked a bit harder?)
Hope that makes sense. Any help would be appreciated - and before Timmne gets all uppity (!) I did read the opening post but the example there just says something about what it cost you to do the job, and I'm easily confused.
There was another job where I was told to spend around £5 and I actually spent £8.99 because I thought that £8.99 pack was better value than the £5.99 pack. What can I claim for in that instance?
Thank you!0 -
Gets all uppity? Pah!
You can claim the lower of: what you spent and what you had to spend to be able to do the job - in basic terms....0 -

Was only teasing!!!
Still confused though. What do you mean, the lower of the two? So if I was told I had to buy x and x (no choice) and it costs £12 but the reimbursement is only £10, are you saying I can only claim £10?
Surely, I HAD to spend the £12 in order to complete the assignment?
EDIT: The first posts says allowable expenses are 'anything you had to pay out as part of the job'. So if I had to pay out £12 surely that's what I claim for?
I can see there being some room for debate on the £5 reimbursement one where it was my choice to spend over, but on the food one they tell you what you have to order and if you don't order that they won't pay. Also, just to clarify, on the £5 one are you saying I can only claim £5 even though I spent more?0 -
That's the reason that I've never done any 'reveal' jobs as I want to be able to go back and MS them again.libertysurf wrote: »Two recent jobs with ME required me to reveal I was a mystery shopper. I checked, but it was so! Seems very odd to me and I am not sure I will do this again as I will be recognised as one, and my value will be reduced.
Anyone else had to do this, and what do you think?0 -

OK ignore my last post - on reading it, it's completely pants and makes no sense!
If what you spent was higher than they told you you had to spend to do the job, claim the amount you should have spent, not what you did spend.
If what you spent was less, claim what you spent.
Does that make any sense now?!0
