I haven't taken any because I remember last time they were on lots of people were moaning about them - although I don't know if they're exactly the same scenarios.
Also I wasn't keen on having to go twice.

do you mean the ones for the posh cars? if so, I didn't take them because I thought the sales people would probably take one look at me and laugh me out of the showroom :rotfl:

Daydreambeliever - I wasn't mad keen on going twice either, and I suppose the fee is not so good once you factor in two visits.

Kelly - Not sure if they're posh or not, they're not really obviously posh or even I would have noticed that. Actually, just checked and some of them ARE really posh - but the ones near me aren't too posh.

I was just puzzled why people hadn't taken them. As I said the only reason I haven't is the prospect of being cornered by a salesperson as they can be quite pushy in those places.

Thanks SC, I think I must be 'off the list' for these jobs as I searched the whole country!! But last time you could not take kids so maybe thats why I cannot see them, that or I am too old (32)???
Oh well, I prob wouldn't take one anyway

I am not liking RE, no new jobs on my area for ages (actually I did see the sports shop one) but apart from that its all miles away

You're not too old! I've just checked and the minimum age is 35 so maybe that's why. I didn't realise TNS only showed us selected jobs actually - I thought we could all see the whole lot and it was up to us to read the brief and check we are suitable. You learn something new every day.

As for RE, I'm sick of reading about all the wonderful jobs people get because I've never seen any decent jobs in my area!

And Gap are even worse. They've had 1 new job in my area in the last month! One job! I'm beginning to think they are blocking me from seeing them. Do they do that?

SC, maybe I shouldn't tell you I had a nice burger and coffee today thanks to RE, and that I am having a burger, a pub visit and an offie tomorrow, followed by a Spanish meal on Friday?

Is it that I'm in the wrong part of the country (north east) or that I'm not seeing them because I am new - so far I haven't done any jobs for RE at all because they've had none suitable in my area.

Out of interest, could you PM me the company names in case I'm seeing them and just not realising what they are? Also, someone mentioned a while ago that RE had casino jobs - I've never seen those either and wonder if I'm in the wrong area or what? What's the name of the casino place please?

I have never seen RE casino jobs either; I think they're only for super-duper highly scored internally...I have over 600 points but do not have a perfect "secret score", an internal score out of 12. I don't know what mine is but I have lost points lately so can't be a 12. I am in the NW and get to see a fair bit of work, although there's still surprisingly little in Merseyside. The burgers and coffee places are in travel outlets, eg train and coach stations and airports. It may be because you're new that you're not seeing much, but I don't know. Ring RE and ask them; I have no idea what other people are getting in your area. I know you're only allowed to pick 1 assignment at first when you're new, and once you've completed that report, if it's fine, then they let you loose on the place and you can pick as many as you want; I once had 11 active in one go.

You lucky thing FE - Spanish meal ......yummy, let us know if its any good as there are some good mid week deals for that restaurant. I once had doughnuts, lunches, coffee in a day - i felt so fat thinking of all the calories ;-)
