in Cutting tax
Hi,
I had a 2 month contract with the Job Centre during the summer. The first month I paid Emergency Tax (I think)..
They told me I didn't get it back in my next payslip I'd have to claim it back through Inland Revenue or whatever, but I have no clue how! Where do I get the form and what documents do I need? I'm not sure how much I should have paid so I don't know how much they owe me..
Can anyone help?

As chriiiiiiiis says ...it really depends if you are working now.
Debbie72 .... your link takes you to a refunds direct page who take a hefty commission (between 18-40%) of anything you are owed! Avoid like the plague! You can easily get 100% of the tax you are owed - either by cheque or through your wages depending on if you are employed.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -
