    Hi there
My friend had taken up a special offer with The Oven Team for about £30 and I was in her house when the work was done. The oven door was taken off and it was left immaculate. We sat in another room feeling really guilty about not cleaning our ovens ... she was mortified by the length of time it took him to clean it. It was well worth the money. The special offer was probably designed for her to recommend him to others, which she did.

No fault found with this company. You sometimes see in local papers adverts for oven cleaners but I don't know much about them.

£30 to clean an oven...!!!!.. Not much moneysaving there...

Some people would rather throw money away rather than rolling up their sleeves & doing some real work...

Sometimes it's just not an option. When I was preggers the ex took the opportunity to clean the oven while I was out of the house. I came home hours later with the fumes still at choking levels even with windows open. The last thing I'd want to do is try to clena the oven with kids around so if someone can come around and do it with clean chemicals and in a fraction of the time it takes a mere mortal then I'd pay!

I'm sure kids could be farmed out for an hour, if there's a will, there's a way.... ;)

I don't know what the ex used but the smell from the oven cleaner lasted more than an hour. More like a few hours but I know where you're coming from.

I agree entirely. I could wire my whole house and save money but there is a reason why insurance companies insist on a qualified person.

In this case we are talking about highly caustic and sometimes solvent cleaners making them almost the most dangerous product you can easily buy. We make these things and many will be strong enough to have you screaming in pain within seconds of skin contact and eye contact would certainly cause long term damage and have a good chance of blinding the individual if they did not get it washed out immediately and get to the hospital. If someone does not know what they are doing then it strikes me as exceptionally wise to get a professional to do it.
    Always overestimating...

Moneysaving is about saving money where you can to spend it where you feel it's worthwhile :) IMHO this is well worthwhile
