If it's only OH he doesn't put it on his forms, it's nothing to do with him, it's your asset (or liability;) ) that he has no rights to, other than if you leave it to him in your will.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Thanks for that. I have spoken to Payplan but they were of the opinon that OR would go for a forced sale even if there was £5000 of equity and possibly more than 50%, so I am now more confused

I am going to speak to CAB though I fear the advice will be the same.
Thanks again.
I saw the CAB today and they spoke to Insolvency Service in Leicester who said I would have Beneficial Interest - as I thought.
Then a solicitor for TSB rang and said as I couldn't pay the debt they would go for 'involuntary bankruptcy'. What does this mean? Is it any different to me instigating the bankruptancy? Now I am really scared as I thought it would just be CCJ's and then a monthly amount till they were paid, albeit it would be such a small monthly amount that it would be for ever and a day. If they forced a sale my GF couldn't afford to buy anywhere with the way mortgage lenders criteria is and we would struggle to rent having 3 dogs. Any advice please!!0 -
Hi DD,
Why dont you say that you rent a room.In that situation you have no claim on the property.
You are not on the deeds or mortgage therefore if your partner kicked you out What could you claim of off him????The triumph of hope over experience
