Is there a market for my "not with profits" Endowments?

I've been investigating whether I can sell my 2 endowments, and after a couple of calls is seems that there is no market for plans that are not "with profits". Is that right, or do I just need to find a company that is interested in these types of plan?

when you say not with profits do you mean its unit linked?

If so, there is no second hand market for these as they have a daily value and if anyone wanted x number of units they could buy them at that daily price. No reason to pay you any more.

Sorry Jon, crashing your thread :rolleyes:: can anyone tell me if the same applies to my half with-profits and half unit-linked (unitised?) policy?

I tried to find out about selling it, several years ago and no-one would buy it - and I can't remember if this was why?

A company called Surrenda-Link has started to buy some unitised with-profit plans - these are unit-linked policies that are fully invested in the with-profits funds. I am not sure whether they are also buying policies that are invested in other types of funds however, it may be worth you giving them a call - 01244 317 999.
